Standardising the Light Steel Production Process
Redesigning process steps, control points and documentation for repeatable quality in light steel building production.

Project goal
To establish a process structure that guarantees the same quality level at every stage of production without depending on individuals.
Challenges
Production steps varying by team member, unwritten control points and errors noticed late.
Solution developed
Checklists, visual standards and pre-delivery approval steps were defined for each production stage; the team was trained on these standards.
Implementation process
Mapping the existing process, identifying critical points, pilot implementation and revision based on feedback.
Results
Production stages were tied to written standards and checkpoints were gathered into one list. Errors are now caught within production before reaching the site, and new team members train on the same standards.
